  • Once home to the Iberian Moorish Monarchs, Granada is one of Spain’s must see cities.

    Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains range, the city is home to one of the world’s most beautiful buildings and Gardens complexes, the iconic and highly impressive Alhambra palaces and gardens, rich with Islamic-Spanish architecture, art, and decorations.

    With influences of the Roman, Visigoth, and Moorish periods, followed by the 11th century Jewish Golden Age, the Renaissance, and the Catholic and Castilian influences, it’s not a surprise that the city is a gem of diversified architecture and cultures.

    Following the visit of the amazing 14th century Alhambra Palaces; the Moorish fortress and gardens complex, and the 13th century Generalife Summer Palace and gardens, visit the 13th century Moorish quarter Albaicin.

    Stroll the maze of narrow streets and squares with their whitewashed houses and explore the 11th century Albaicin fortress and towers.
    Visit the Puertas de las Murallas city gates, the 11th century El Banuelo Arab Hammam, the Palacio Dar al-Horra Moorish palace, and more.

    Continue visiting the unique and picturesque Romano (Gypsy) quarter Sacromonte famous for its 15th century whitewashed cave homes. Experience the way people lived here in the Caves of Sacromonte Museum and be sure to enjoy a traditionl Flamenco Dance show in one of the caves.

    In the city center visit the Granada Cathedral and the Royal Chapel, a mausoleum of the Catholic Monarchs. Admire the breathtaking interior of Juan de Dios Basilica, and of the church in the Cartuja Monastery.

    With children, be sure to visit the Science Park one of the most visited museum in Andalucia, home to interactive and interesting exhibitions.

    Stroll La Alcaicería Bazaar, the streets around Plaza de Bib Rambla and the Cathedral, and enjoy shopping in the small local shops and stalls. Examine Oriental souvenirs and local products such as Ceramics, colored lamps, jewelry, and more.

    Party and enjoy Granada’s vibrant nightlife, in one of the local restaurants or in a trendy bar having Tapas and bear, to be followed with a Flamenco show.
    To experience traditional culture, visit a Hammam, the public baths, such as the most popular Hammam Al Andalus, to relax and to enjoy a good massage.
