Visit Northern Thailand preferably in November through to February when it’s cool and the skies are clear.  June through to October is the region’s rainy season, and the hot season is in March through to May.
Access Northern Thailand by flying into Chiang Mai or Chiang Rai, or by train or bus from Bangkok.

Traveling the region, visit Chiang Mai and its surroundings for 3-5 days, continue to Chiang Rai for additional 2-3 days, or follow a road trip loop to include Pai and Mae Hong Son for a total of 10-12 days.
