The Olympus Riviera is on the 70 km western coastline of the Thermaic Gulf, between Methoni in the north and Neoi Pori in the south, 120 km southwest of Thessaloniki.
West of the coastline are Mount Olympus and the Ossa Mountain range.

The Olympic Riviera is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the northern parts of Greece, with numerous beach resorts, picturesque villages, and towns.
The popular small town of Katerini, the capital of the region, lies 7 km west of the coast, offering all the required tourists’ facilities. Nearby is the town of Dion and its famous large archeological Park, and the town of Litochoro and Mount Olympus to the south.
Mount Olympus is home to the Greek mythology gods, offering beautiful landscapes, rich Fauna and Flora, impressive gorges and waterfalls, and great outdoor activities opportunities.

There are numerous beaches and beach resorts in the Olympus Riviera, including well organized wide sandy beaches, water sports facilities, hotels, restaurants, bars, and nightlife activities. The popular beaches from north to south are at Korinos village, Paralia resort, the Olympic coast at the village of Olimpiaki Akti, Variko, Plaka of Litohoro, Leptokarya, Panteleimonas, the beaches of Platamonas village below the famous Platamon castle, and the Neoi Pori village resort.
