  • Hua Hin, Thailand’s oldest beach resort town, sits on the northwestern shore
    of the Gulf of Thailand, 200 km south of Bangkok, in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
    The town has been a royal retreat since the early 20th century when King Rama VII
    built the Klai Kangwon Palace on the beach, a royal residence still in use by the
    Thai royal family.
    Hua Hin is an elegant town, with wide clean beaches backed by mid-range and luxury
    hotels and resorts. The charming old town has a heritage railway station and traditional
    wooden shophouses, excellent seafood restaurants, artisan coffee shops, and one of
    Thailand’s best night markets. The town’s atmosphere is relaxed, upscale, and family friendly.
    There are beautiful National Parks 60-80 km west and south of town home to waterfalls,
    caves, wild animals’ sightings, and magnificent coastal landscapes, which can be explored
    as part of day trips from town.
    Hua Hin is a great 2-3 day destination or more as a summer vacation destination.
