• Koh Kradan

Koh Kradan is a small, 2 km long, island offering a 1.5 km crescent of white sand beach on the eastern coast, with crystal-clear turquoise water and excellent swimming and snorkeling conditions off the beach. The underwater environment meters from shore includes hard and soft coral formations supporting diverse marine life populations including parrotfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, groupers, small reef sharks and rays.
The western side of the island features dramatic limestone cliffs rising directly from the sea, while the interior is largely undeveloped jungle. There is no town and no proper roads but three small mid-range to upscale resorts catering to couples, honeymooners, and those seeking maximum tranquility. Koh Kradan has developed a reputation as Thailand’s premier honeymoon destination, enhanced by the unusual practice of underwater wedding ceremonies held on Valentine’s Day.
The island, the beach, and the snorkeling conditions are considered one of Thailand’s finest and most beautiful.
There are day trips to Koh Kradan from Koh Muk, Koh Ngai, or Trang mainland piers.
The island is also visited as part of a four islands tours, including Muk, Ngai, and Chueak islands, operating from Hat Yao pier and Pak Meng pier.
