• El Greco House and Museum of Toledo

A 17th century palace in the Jewish quarter near the El Transito Synagogue where the famous painter lived when he came to Toledo from Crete. The house is decorated with period furniture, sculptures, and ceramics, some of which belonged to El Greco. In the adjoining museum more than twenty 16th century paintings by El Greco, and others by other Spanish painters such as Zurbaran, Miranda, and others.
