The home of Winston Churchill from 1922 until he died in 1965, near Westerham, 27 km northwest of Maidstone in Kent. The estate with origins in the 14th century, has beautiful views over the Weald of Kent. The house, a highly popular attraction, has been restored to reflect the early 20th century period with the rooms decorated with memorabilia, gifts, and Churchillian artefacts. In the house the original furniture and books, as well as honors and medals that Churchill received.

The gardens surrounding the house were designed and created by the Churchills to include a Rose Garden, a Water Garden, the Golden Orfe Pond, lakes, and several structures including Churchill’s painting studio home to a large collection of his artistic works. https://kentlife.org.uk
