The capital of Andalusia is a beautiful city representing a mix of Moorish, Gothic, and Modern Architecture.

The city’s architecture, art culture and folklore, flamenco, bullfighting, and tapas, makes it a great tourist destination, the center of Andalusia visit. Visit the Barrio Santa Cruz a charming and famous old neighborhood and stroll the maze of narrow winding streets and beautiful squares while enjoying the local restaurants and bars.

In the old quarter visit the Seville Cathedral, the royal palace of Alcazar, the impressive Palace of Pilatos and the Palacio de la Condesa de Lebrija.
Visit the central square of Plaza Nueva and the tranquil Plaza de Cabildo and its Sunday market, and to relax stroll and enjoy the park of Jardines de Murillo. Visit the beautiful Plaza de Espana, and Parque María Luisa, with its nice landscape, monuments, and museums.

On the bank of the Guadalquivir River view the Golden reflection of the 13th century military watch tower, Torre Del Oro, and visit the museum inside. Near the tower admire the Triana Bridge and visit the Triana neighborhood, a great place for night hangout.

When in Seville you must visit and admire few of the wonderful palaces of the city. Thetjoy.com recommends visiting at least;

Enjoy the various art and culture museums of Seville visiting at least the Museum of Fine Arts of Seville, one of the important fine arts museums in Spain, the Archeological Museum, and the Flamenco Dance Museum with its related activities.

Visiting Seville with children, there are quit few attractions for the whole family and especially for children. Enjoy the Agua Magica water theme park, MundoPark Zoo and Seville Aquarium, sailing the Plaza de España circular canal, and much more.

Visit Seville for at least two days and while staying in the city, and as time allows, travel its surroundings by car or train.
Visit Cordoba 140 km northeast of Seville for one day and consider traveling 200 km southeast from Cordoba to the magnificent Granada for additional 2 days.

A complete summer vacation would be to combine the visits to Seville, Cordoba, and Granada with traveling south of Seville to Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz, 90 and 120 km respectively, and to spend few days (or more) in one of Cadiz beaches, or in a beach resort south or north of Cadiz in Costa de la Luz.
