• Verres Castle

A 14th century fortified castle built on a rock dominating the town of Verres. Built as a single structure, cube shaped, the castle has an inner courtyard and three floors. The castle was renovated throughout the years with the last one in the 19th century. The castle is almost completely free of decorations, but with minor Gothic and Spanish Moorish influence. Explore the large dining hall, the period kitchen, the remnants of large fireplaces, and the nice 13th century windows.
