• Robin Hood’s Bay

A small fishing village and a bay 10 km south of Whitby built in a gap between two steep cliffs. The village consists of a maze of tiny streets, and it was known for its involvement in the north coast smuggling operations in the 18th century, which can be learned about in the village museum.
