  • About Netherlands Attractions

The Netherlands is famous for its wealth of cultural heritage, flat lands landscapes, charming and picturesque towns and villages with their water canals lined with 17th centuries architecture, its Windmills and blooming Tulip fields. A welcoming attitude to visitors, the many sights and attractions, and the excellent public transportation network, makes the Netherlands a great destination to visit in addition to its capital Amsterdam.
The small country offers great cultural and children attractions in addition to its picturesque villages and towns, all within a short distance that can be enjoyed in a rather short time. Visit and enjoy the cheese market of Alkmaar, the traditional Zaanse Schans Village, Giethoorn Village, the “Venice of the Netherlands”, the Keukenhof Flower Park, the Kinderdijk Windmills, and the Netherlands Open Air Museum in Arnhem.
Explore the villages and towns of Volendam, the beautiful fishing village, Haarlem, Leiden, and the beautiful and vibrant Utrecht.
Families with children will be excited spending time in the Harderwijk Dolphinarium, the largest marine mammal park in Europe, Madurodam miniature park, Efteling Theme Park, Walibi Holland, the large amusement park, and more.
Rent a bike and cruise the towns, villages and the flat tranquil countryside, and in the summer enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches from the peninsulas of Zeeland to the wild Wadden Islands in the north.

Note that you can combine your visit to the Netherlands and Amsterdam, with traveling Germany or France.
