2-3 Days

A county in Southeast England named the Garden of England, between London and Dover on the English Channel, separating England from mainland Europe. The region’s major towns are Maidstone, Canterbury and Dover with the main attractions scattered around
these towns.

Enjoy various great Castles, Gardens and Mansion houses in the west between London and Maidstone, and visit the grand and famous Leeds Castle, and some of the other attractions spread out between the rolling hills surrounding Maidstone.

Follow the hiking trails in the hills of the North Downs and the Greensand Ridge, or on the coastline, enjoying the orchards and vineyards of Chapel Down and Biddenden producing some of the country’s finest ales and wines.
Take a boat cruise or canoe your way in one of the rivers crossing the county or visit one of the family fun attractions such as Kent life near Maidstone, or the Howletts Animal Park near Canterbury.

Enjoy the beautiful coastline and sandy beaches, with beach towns, villages, and resorts, such as Whitstable north of Canterbury, and Ramsgate north of Dover.

But on top of all, Thetjoy.com recommends not to miss;

Kent would be an ideal 2-3 day trip destination, especially between the Spring through to the Fall, with attractions and places to visit and enjoy, for both families, friends, and couples looking for a romantic retreat.
As the county is not large, we would suggest to base yourself in one destination, near Maidstone, Canterbury, or one of the seaside towns, which will enable convenient coverage of the major Kent attractions.

You can reach Kent either from London in the west, from other southern English destination, or from Europe through the English Canal and Dover in the east.

Traveling from London for 2-3 days, Thetjoy.com recommends driving to Maidstone while visiting some of the magnificent attractions on the way, then for additional day or two, going east, visit Maidstone, Canterbury, Dover, the seaside towns, and the respective attractions.
