There are six major traveling regions in Thailand including the vibrant and exhilarating capital Bangkok, Bangkok Surroundings with an assortment of destinations and attractions of all kinds, and Northern Thailand and Chiang Mai a region rich with cultural heritage, nature gems, and numerous traditional and outdoor experiences.
In addition to the cultural wealth and the magnificent nature gems Thailand is one of the world’s most popular beach and sea vacation destinations, including Krabi Province and its nearby islands, Phuket Island, and The Gulf of Thailand islands including Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao, where all three regions are home to some of the most beautiful islands and beaches in the world.

When visiting Bangkok consider 2-3 day trips in Bangkok surroundings, and/or 2-4 days north to Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand, and few days in the sun in one of the beach resorts and islands regions of Krabi Province, Phuket Island, and the Gulf of Thailand islands.
