3-7 Days

A Greek island part of the Cyclades, between the islands of Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos, 200 km southeast of Piraeus.
The island is famous for its vibrant nightlife and ongoing day and night decadent party vibes, and for being a gay-friendly destination with many spots catering the LGBT community. The partying environment and the island’s fabulous beaches rates the island one of the best in Europe.

Enjoy yourself in the luxurious setting, in one of many excellent restaurants and tavernas, dance all day long in the famous beach bars scattered around, and party until dawn in one of its cosmopolitan clubs.
While in the beach enjoy all types of water sports activities especially those exploiting Mykonos being “The island of the winds”.

Explore the island’s capital, the town of Mykonos, Chora, on the west coast, where most of the island’s attractions are concentrated.
Set in a picturesque fishing-village bay, stroll the maze of narrow paved alleys, with the whitewashed houses and colored doors and window frames. Head to the area of Matogiania in the town center with its chic shops and trendy bars, and to the glamorous Matoyanni Street with brand name stores, charming cafes, and stylish restaurants.
Visit the unique and odd church of Panagia Paraportiani in the Kastro district and enjoy a panoramic view of the Aegean Sea.

Mykonos has a great shopping scene where you can find the most famous designer labels, jewelry, leather, and art shops along with traditional products and souvenirs shops.
Visit one of the most beautiful places of the island, Alefkantra also called “Little Venice”, the 18th century district with the grand mansions and the wooden balconies overlooking the sea. While in the district enjoy the view of the famous “Kato Mili”, the seven 16th century Mykonos windmills, standing on the hillside above, and at sunset seat in one of the cafes or restaurants’ balconies and admire the remarkable romantic setting.

Stroll along the lively waterfront and the old harbor, seat in one of the cafes on the water, watch the fishing boats, and look for the official mascot of Mykonos, the Pelican.

For some history and culture spend some time in Chora small but interesting Archaeological, Folklore and Maritime Museums.
If you are driving, visit the Armenistis Lighthouse, the traditional village of Ano Mera, the nearby 16th century monastery of Panagia Paraportiani, and the Vioma winery for a tour and wine tasting.

Visit Mykonos for at least three days of exploring its capital, enjoying its beautiful beaches, and having a boat cruise to the nearby beautiful uninhibited small island of Delos to explore its vast archeological site, and the island of Rhenia for its beautiful secluded bays.

Reach Mykonos by air through its international airport, or by ferries from Athens Piraeus, and the surrounding Islands.
