Walk along the fortress’ fortified walls to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Avignon, the Rohne Valley, and the surrounding mountains. Also in the village the Pierre-de-Luxembourg Museum home to the 15th century Coronation of the Virgin Mary painting by Quarton and other beautiful 17th century paintings. The 14th century Chartreuse du Val de Benediction chapel in the village is home to a remarkable cloister and the Gothic tomb of Pope Innocent VI.
