• Trafalgar Square

A famous and popular public square in the City of Westminster in Central London, constructed in the early 19th century to commemorate the British naval victory over France and Spain in the Battle of Trafalgar.

In the square center which is often used for community gatherings and political demonstrations, a 44 meters high Corinthian column topped by a statue of Nelson guarded by four Lions, various statues and two fountains. The National Gallery is situated right by the square.
