• Tiergarten Park

A large popular park in the center of Berlin, one of the largest in Germany. The park spreads west of the Brandenburg Gate, with woodland, vast loans areas, English Gardens, lakes, ponds and streams.
The park offers picnic areas, strolling, jogging and cycling trails, boating in the park lake, large playground in the southeastern corner near Potsdamer Platz, field sports such as soccer, cafes, restaurants, Bear Garden by the lake, and more.
Also in the park the large and famous Berlin Zoo, Zoologischer Garten Berlin, and the adjacent Aquarium. Strolling the park grounds enjoy the 19th century Statue of Queen Luise, the Monument of Frederick Wilhelm III, and the Soviet war memorial.
Admire the Siegessaule, a 70 meters high famous Victory Column crowned with an 8 meters high gold statue of Victoria, and a 52 meters high observation platform at the top of the monument.
In the summer enjoy the bell sounds of the 42 meters high Carillon located near the arts and exhibition center, Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
