• Thingvellir National Park

The park is considered one of the most beautiful locations in Iceland, where you will enjoy snowcapped mountains, Volcanic Fields, impressive waterfall, small bridges over deep water pools, and magnificent landscapes.
Thingvellir was the site where Iceland’s first parliament was founded in 930 AD and continued to convene there until 1798. The park is also one of the only places on earth where you can see the tectonic plates, the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, exposed and elevated above ground.
The national park offers numerous hiking trails of all levels and ranges throughout the park.
