• The Taurus Mountains Range

Right above the Mediterranean coast, in the south of Turkey, the mountains range creats amazing landscapes of high cliffs, rich Flora and Fauna, rivers, streams and lakes. Visit the charming small villages and enjoy authentic culture with an amazing scenery of the coast and sea right below. There are numerous operators that offers various tours in the mountains, or you can consult with the local tourist’s information centres for the best routs in the specific season. You can explore, for example, two areas in the Taurus Mountains.
Head north of Antalya through the Ucansu Waterfalls to Koprulu Canyon National Park, the Selge Ancient City and the beautiful rock formations in “Little Cappadocia” on the way to the village of Balllibucak. If time allows consider continuing north through Lake Kovada and its Nature Park to the Lake town of Egridir.
Head west of Antalya towards the town of Geyikbayiri, the Feslikan Yaylasi, and the village of Saklikent. While in the area, you will enjoy the great scenery of the mountains, valleys, and the Mediterranean Sea in the east, and numerous beautiful trail climbing to the summits of the Tunc Dagi, the Alabelen, the Salidoruk, the Bakirtepe, and other mountain’s summits.
