The Museu de Arte Sacra do Funchal within the 16th century Episcopal Palace of Funchal, is home to 15th through to the 19th centuries eclectic collection of Portuguese and Flemish Art works of paintings and sculptures, Gold based artworks, and gold decorated vestments. Part of the Flemish artworks are very large paintings not commonly on display in other museums.
