The Netherlands national art museum displaying Dutch artworks and history items collections, located in the Amsterdam South quarter close to the Van Gogh Museum. The highly popular museum is the largest art museum in the Netherlands, having on display more than 8,000 artworks and history items, from the 13th through to the 20th centuries.

The museum’s art collection includes more than 2,000 paintings from the Dutch Golden Age by painters such as Vermeer, Jan Steen, Rembrandt, Ruisdael, Hals, and many others. Also, in the museum a small Asian art collection.
