• The Palatine Hill and Augustus house

Casa di Augusto, an archaeological site one of the most ancient parts of Rome, located above the Roman Forum and offering spectacular view of the Circus Maximus. The hill was the location of Imperial palaces from the times of Augustus, and later it was mostly occupied by the houses of Rome wealthiest citizens. In the site, the Augustus house dated to 30 BC, presenting rooms with extensive wall decorations and paintings.
