• The Museum of Normandy

Musee de Normandie is located within the Caen Castle presenting the history and culture of the region from prehistory to the 2nd Millennium. In the museum 7,000 years old ceramics, classical Roman period artifacts, 10th century Viking period artifacts, and items from later periods. The museum’s collection includes artifacts such as costumes, crafts, tools, and more, with a special section dedicated to the story of the WWII Battle of Normandy.
