• The Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC/CCBA)

The Museu de Arte Contemporanea (MAC/CCBA) is a new museum opened in 2023 in the Centro Cultural de Belem. The museum’s impressive collection is based on the Portugal’s Contemporary Art Collection (CACE), the Berardo Collection, and other collections.
The artworks on display are based on European, American, and Portuguese modern and contemporary art from the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century. All the major art movements of these eras are presented including artworks by Picasso, Dalí, Duchamp, Mondrian, Miro, and Warhol, among many others.
