A beautiful island off the Sorrento Peninsula, 25 minutes ferry ride from Sorento and 50 minutes from Molo Beverello harbor near Piazza Municipio in Naples.

The island is famous for its Blue Cave, amazing coastline with massive rock formations landscapes, and a beautiful historic center in the town of Capri with exclusive shopping.

Besides being a favorite destination for the rich and famous, the island attracts in the summer numerous one day tourists who enjoy the moderate climate, the landscapes, and the beautiful walks through the various attractions the island has to offer.

Reaching the Island by ferry into the Marina Granda, take the funicular, or walk uphill to the town of Capri.

Enjoy the winding small alleys and Piazza Umberto in the historic center with its cafes and restaurants.

To enjoy the Island, walk the winding roads from Piazza Umberto into the island surroundings. Walk northeast for 40 minutes to the beautiful art nouveau Villa Lysis and its garden on the northeast clifftop.
Also from Piazza Umberto you could walk northwest for 40 minutes, or take a bus to the town of Anacapri, visit Villa San Michele and its gardens decorated with  ancient Egyptian and classical artworks.

Walk south for 30 minutes to the Belvedere of Tragara, a high panoramic promenade overlooking the breathtaking views of Isole Faraglioni, the three limestone rocks erected out of the sea, the botanic Gardens of Augustus with their flowered terraces, and the museum at the Certosa di San Giacomo.

Take a boat from Marina Granda to the magnificent Blue Cave (Grotta Azzurra) on the northwest coast, where you will use a raw boat to enter the cave which is beautifully lit with deep blue light emanating from an underwater cavity.
You can also walk to the cave through Anacapri (the second town in the island) for 1.5 hours and rent on site a boat to enter the cave.

Enjoy the amazing landscapes of Capri and its harbor, Sorrento Bay and Mount Vesuvius.
