• The Caves of Diros Complex

Famous caves in Pirgos Diros on the southwestern part of the Peloponnese, 75 km south of Mystras. The Alepotripa Cave, part of the complex which is close to the public, was used in the Neolithic period as a shelter and a place of living home to workshop, storage area, cemetery, and worship site. The Vlichada cave on the other hand is open for visits with its 2.5 km of winding waterways enabling 40 minutes exploration of the cave by boat. It’s an overwhelming experience watching the beautiful Stalagmites and Stalactites reflections in the water.
