• The Aix Cathedral of the Saint Sauveur

The Cathedral presents a mix of Architectural styles from the 5th to 17th century, including Roman, Gothic, Romanesque, and early Christian styles. The Cathedral’s facade features numerous 15th and 16th century statues and figurines, and the nave is decorated with 19th century painted and sculpted neo-Gothic decorations.
Among the Cathedral’s works of art are those by Nicolas Froment, Louis Finson, and Jean Daret. The major paintings presented are the Burning Bush multi panels painting, 17th century Christ on the Cross with the Virgin of Sorrows, The Last Supper, The Incredulity of St. Thomas, and 16th-17th centuries tapestries of the life of Christ.
