The Zoologischer Garten Berlin is the oldest and best zoo in Germany, considered one of the most popular in the world, located in Tiergarten Berlin. The zoo has one of the most comprehensive collections of animals’ species in the world and is home to more than 20,000 animals of 1,400 species. The zoo was home to some of the worlds celebrities like Knut, the polar bear, the giant pandas, miniscule African penguins, and more.
