• The beaches of Voidokilia and Divari

Regularly ranked among the most beautiful beaches in the world, the Voidokilia beach is located at the western end of the Gialova lagoon, in the small Voidokilia bay. The beach can be reached by road from the village of Gialova, or by a trail from the village of Petrochori. At the entrance to the Voidokilia lagoon you will encounter the Mycenaean Tholos Tomb known as “Thrasymedes’, the son of king Nestor.
On a rock above the beach visit Nestor’s Cave, in which according to mythology, the king of Pylos was raising his oxen. Divari beach is a long sandy beach stretched along the bay of Navarino on the way from the VoIdokilia beach to the village of Gialova to the east.
