• The Beaches of Fuerteventura

Most of the island coastline is “deserted”, with some beaches offering well developed infrastructures but still not crowded. The northeastern beaches are often quite windy to the delight of surfers who find some of Europe’s best surfing conditions here.

Cotillo
A small fishing village in the northwest of the island considered a surfer’s paradise.

Corralejo
A small fishing town in the north with a beautiful promenade, restaurants and coffee shops, and a 16 km stretch of beaches including the beautiful beaches of El Moro, El Rio and Playa el Pozo.

Sotavento in Costa Calma
The main tourist location in the southeast proud of 30 km of wonderful beaches. While there are towns and resorts with all the required facilities, it’s the tranquil and un-crowded beaches in the area that attracts visitors.

Playa de Cofete
A 2 km long stunning and isolated sandy beach notorious for its high waves, on the island’ southern tip near Cofete.
