• St. Paul’s Cathedral

A 17th century Anglican cathedral of the Bishop of London, located on Ludgate Hill at the highest point of the City of London. The English Baroque Cathedral is dedicated to Paul the Apostle and is dated back to the original church founded in AD 604. The Cathedral’s 111 meters high dome has dominated the London skyline for over 300 years. Services held at the cathedral have included the funerals of Admiral Nelson, the Duke of Wellington, Winston Churchill, Margaret Thatcher, and many more.

In the Cathedral, admire the impressive interior set in five levels, the beautiful array of art from Thornhill’s dome murals to the fine carvings, the Victorian mosaics and metalwork. Also in the cathedral numerous sculptures, paintings, and artifacts, by the like of Henry Moore, William Holman, and others.

In the Crypt you will find numerous memorials and impressive tombs including those of Horatio, Lord Nelson, the Duke of Wellington, and the memorials of Florence Nightingale, Turner, Lawrence of Arabia, Sir Alexander Fleming, and many others. Enjoy the magnificent chapels, the Whispering Gallery 257 steps up, and the Stone and Golden Galleries higher up offering magnificent panoramic views of the city of London.
