• Skiathos Town

The 19th century capital and biggest settlement in the eastcoast of the Island of Skiathos. The town is the main cosmopolitan resort of the island with all the required tourists’ facilities, two marine ports for ferries, private yachts, and sail boats, and an international airport.

Stroll the older part of town on the hill above the old harbor, with its maze of narrow alleys and small squares, Venetian buildings and whitewashed houses. While exploring the town architecture, enjoy the small shops and boutiques, and the numerous restaurants and cafes. Visit the picturesque harbor surrounded by small islets, with restaurants and cafes on the waterfront, and enjoy it at night when it turns into a vibrant area with bustling bars and dancing clubs.

Visit Bourtzi, the small romantic wooded and rocky peninsula with the stunning views of the archipelago, the Papadiamantis House and Museum of the famous Greek writer, and the churches of Panaghia Limnia and Tris Ierarches.

At night enjoy the bars at Polytechniou st., the “Bar Street”, and the night clubs along the harbor, the airport road, and more in the old town. Enjoy a movie at the at Attikon open air cinema on Papadiamandi street, or the Aegean Festival presenting Greek tragedies, theatre shows, music and dance, in the Bourtzi outdoor theater.
