• Siriraj Medical Museum

The Siriraj museum is located within the grounds of Siriraj Hospital, Thailand’s oldest and most prestigious hospital, on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya River.
The museum is one of Bangkok’s most unusual and fascinating attractions, comprising six galeries covering forensic medicine, parasitology, pathology, anatomy, and medical history.
The museum’s highlight, the forensic exhibits, include preserved specimens, medical curiosities, and the preserved body of Si Ouey, Thailand’s most infamous serial killer. The displays are presented with scientific objectivity and provide educational insight into forensic medicine and Thai medical history.
The museum is a short cross-river ferry journey from Tha Chang pier in a part of Bangkok that only few tourists visit.
