• Sigurta Garden Park

Parco Giardino Sigurta is one of Italy’s and Europe top gardens, located in Valeggio sul Mincio, a small town along the Mincio River, 30 km Southwest of Verona and 20 km south of Simione in Lake Garda. The park covers 600 thousand square meters of rolling hills off the Mincio River covered with oak woods, grassy lawns, plants and spectacular variety of flowers in bloom. In the park a maze made of 1500 trees with a tower in the middle, 18 tranquil water gardens with beautiful floating flower displays, 30,000 rose bushes, and the largest display of tulips in southern Europe. While in the park visit the Hermitage, an 18th century Gothic Temple, and the Castelletto with its pretty Neo-Gothic style windows.
Spend few hours or more in the park, walking along the garden paths or while using a panoramic train, electric shuttle or rented bicycles.
While in the area, visit the charming Medieval town of Borghetto sul Mincio, one of the most beautiful towns of Italy, and enjoy the nearby Valeggio sul Mincio village with its water streams and mills, and the remains of an ancient towers, walls, and castle.
