• Saint Trophime Cathedral

A 12th to 15th centuries Romanesque church and cloister in Place de la Republique in Arles. The church is famous for the highly detailed Romanesque sculptures carved into the church’s portal, and the religious figures and biblical scenes which are carved on the pillars and on the capitals of the adjacent cloister (Cloitre Saint-Trophime). Inside the church admire an early Christian sarcophagi, 13th century plaques and epitaphs, baroque paintings, and 17th century tapestries.
