• Sail Rock

The site is 19 km south of Koh Tao, 1-1.5 hours by boat, between Tao and Koh Phangan.
The site depth is 5-40 meters, with excellent visibility of 20-30 meters.
The site is considered the Gulf of Thailand’s best dive site with dramatic swim-through chimney.
Marine Life: Whale sharks visible typically in February-September, Schools of barracuda and trevally, Giant groupers, and diverse reef fish.
Sail Rock is massive granite pinnacle breaking the surface.
The site’s signature feature is the vertical chimney, a natural shaft through the rock starting at 18 meters depth and with an opening at 5 meters, allowing divers to swim vertically through the pinnacle. The swim-through is wide enough to be comfortable but provides dramatic experience.
The site conditions: Can have strong currents. The site is accessible to advanced Open Water certified divers preferably experienced.
