• Princes Street Gardens

In the valley between the old and new towns, with Edinburgh Castle towering above the western end, the gardens’ colorful displays include 30,000 plants, flowers and foliage plants. In addition to the beautiful flowers’ beds, the gardens are home to a collection of monuments, memorials and sculptures from the mid 19th century to the 1990s.

Also in the gardens, a 1903 floral clock the first in the world, with some 24,000 flowers and plants on its circumference.
