• Pitlochry’s Hermitage

A magnificent and popular woodland site on the banks of the River Braan in Craigvinean Forest, 20 km south of Pitlochry and west of the A9 in Dunkeld. The site was created by John Murray, the third Duke of Atholl in the 18th century. In the site Ossian’s Hall of Mirrors overlooking the Black Linn Falls, a Totem pole, and the Ossian’s Cave. Follow the trails along the river and enjoy the streams and waterfalls under the tall trees.
