• Palais Rohan

An 18th century magnificent French Baroque residence of the prince-bishops and cardinals of the House of Rohan. In the palace’ main floor richly decorated apartments including statues, paintings and decorative elements, all part of the Museum of Decorative Arts.
The palace is home to three of Strasburg important museums, the Archaeological Museum (Musee archeologique), the Museum of Decorative Arts (Musee des arts decoratifs) and the Museum of Fine Arts (Musee des beaux-arts).

The Strasbourg Fine Arts Museum
Musee des Beaux-Arts de Strasbourg is home to a collection of masters paintings of the 14th through the 19th centuries, including paintings by the renowned Botticelli, Lippi, Raphael, Rubens, Giotto, Van Dyke, El Greco, Goya and Degas, and many others.

The Strasburg Decorative Arts Museum
The Musee des arts decoratifs collection include in addition to the Rohan Palace beautiful apartments’ paintings, sculptures, period furniture, and more, a collection of locally produced porcelain and other artifacts.

The Strasburg Archaeological Museum
The Musee archeologique is home to a collection of northern Alsace findings from the Paleolithic Era to the 8th century.
