• Olympos

A natural protected area, with no elaborate resorts or luxury hotels, popular with backpackers and offering Bohemian atmosphere. The area lies within a valley part of the Olympos National Park, 40 km south of Kemer and 80 km south of Antalya.
The small and secluded coastal resort is the nesting site of Caretta sea turtles, and it has small hotels and campsites within the villages of Cirali and Olympus, a 5 km beautiful sandy Cirali beach, and numerous marvelous attractions.
Explore the ancient Roman city Ruins around the bay, including a temple, an Amphitheater, a bath area with mosaics, and a necropolis. North of town, in Yanartaş, uphill above Cirali Beach, watch the magnificent eternal flames of Chimera. In the site, dozens of small flames burning constantly from vents in the rocks on the side of the mountain, a sight which is most impressive at sunset or at night. There are numerous outdoor activities opportunities in and around Olympos including Rock Climb in one of few rock climbing sites organized by one of the climbing clubs in Olympos (www.olymposrockclimbing.com), diving in one of few beautiful diving sites using the local diving centers, or hiking the 13 km day hike of the Adrasan-Olympos section of the Lycian Way (www.LikyaYoluRehberi.com). Visit Olympos famous tree houses, take a Boat Cruise, rent a boat or a Canoe, and explore the beautiful coves and the nearby small islands, preferably at Moonlight. In town look for the small shops and street stalls, selling handmade home decor products Olympos is renowned for, and take the Cable Car to Tahtali Mountain summit to enjoy the magnificent view of the coast and the Mediterranean, and Paraglide down to Tekirova Beach north of Olympos.
While in Olympos you can take Day Tours to Kemer and Antalya to the east, and Demre, Myra, and the Kekova Island to the west.
