• National Palace of Ajuda

Palacio Nacional da Ajuda is a late 18th century magnificent Neoclassical palace, the only one open to the public in Lisbon. The palace was the Portugues Monarch residence through to the early 20th century, and currently its a museum.
In the beautiful palace built on a hill above Belem district, highly preserved and restored staterooms and stunning banquet hall and grand throne, all richly decorated with beautiful tapestries, allegorical mural, painted ceilings, wood paneling, silk coated walls, and more.
In the rooms enjoy paintings and beautiful artworks, chandeliers, gold and silverware, jewelry, period furniture, glassware, Chinese porcelain, and many other beautiful items.
