• Montjuïc Hill

A symbolic hill where true gems of Barcelona’s architecture can be found together with panoramic views and gardens perfect to stroll and relax. Take a ride in the Harbor Cable Car which connects Montjuic and Barceloneta to enjoy breathtaking views of the port, the sea, and the city.

While visiting the Hill, enjoy Parc de Joan Miro, with Miro’s 22 meters high Dona i Ocell statue, the Botanical Gardens, and the Magic Fountain. Visit the Poble Espanyol open air museum with ‘artisans’ village, workshops, and more than 100 full-scale buildings replicated from different places in the Iberian Peninsula. Enjoy the Palau Nacional home to a collection of 5,000 Medieval artworks, the Joan Miro Museum of modern art, and the Montjuic Castle, a 17th century fortress home to the Army Museum.

One of the main attractions on the hill is the Olympic Ring (Anella Olímpica), the Olympic Park built for the 1992 Summer Olympics, which includes the Olympic Stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi sports hall, the telecommunications tower, the Joan Antoni Samarach Olympic and Sports Museum, and more.
