The Casa Museu Medeiros e Almeida is a 19th century mansion in central Lisbon, home to the impressive and magnificent art collection of Antonio de Medeiros e Almeida and its former private residence. The museum presents various collections of ~2,000 items, including Dutch and Flemish paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Tiepolo and others, and a large clocks collection. Also on display impressive Chinese porcelain, Portuguese and French furniture, sculpture, textiles, jewellery, and much more. Explore the museum’s 27 rooms which include items from the 2nd century BC to the 20th century, arranged within 18th-century French style interiors of the highly decorated private apartments of the collector.
