• Marmaris Castle

Built in the 11th century and reconstructed by Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century, the castle was used as a residential complex until the 1980s. Today the castle is home to the Marmaris Archaeology Museum, displaying local artefacts from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods, including Architectural items, pottery, glassware, coins, and more.
