• Lisbon’s Tropical Garden

Jardim Tropical is a beautiful and peaceful retreat from the bustling city, in Belem District near the Jeronimos Monastery. In the park giant palm trees and other exotic plants and trees from the Portuguese colonies, and sculptures of the colonies’ natives which are scattered around. The arch of Macau is leading the way to an Oriental Garden. Peacocks, ducks, and swans are roaming around or swimming in the park’s pond. The Ajuda Palace is 15 minutes away uphill.
