The Kolugljufur is a 1 km long and 60 meters wide impressive and magnificent canyon of the river Vídidalsa famous for its Salmon. In the canyon eight small waterfalls together known as the Kolufoss Fall. Visiting the canyon and exploring its beautiful surroundings make sure to be careful standing on its cliffs edge.
The relatively unknown, off the Beaten Track attraction, is on the 715 road off the Ring Road, a 10 km detour from the 716 road heading north to The Vatnsnes Peninsula.
