• Khao Yai Wine Region

The Khao Yai region surrounding the national park has developed into Thailand’s most successful wine-producing region, with the cool highland climate and well-drained soils providing conditions suitable for growing few grape varieties. Several excellent wineries operate in the Khao Yai area, offering vineyard tours, tastings, and restaurant dining in remarkably pleasant pastoral settings.
PB Valley Khao Yai Winery is the largest and most established vineyard, producing a range of red, white, and rosé wines of increasing quality and international recognition. The winery’s restaurant and tasting room overlook the vineyards with the park’s forested hills in the background.
GranMonte Estate and Silverlake Vineyard are smaller boutique producers also worth visiting. Wine tourism in the Khao Yai area has developed significantly in recent years and now represents an alternative itinerary for visitors who want to combine natural park experiences with wine and gastronomy.
