• Karon Beach

Karon Beach is a 3 km long beach stretch, wide and uncrowded, offering a more relaxed alternative to Patong while maintaining good facilities and restaurant options. The northern end toward Patong is the busiest, and the southern part is much quitter.
The sandy beach slopes gently into clear water and is suitable for swimming, and water sports activities.
The town of Karon along the beach, and the main Patak road, are home to guesthouses and mid-range resorts, restaurants and all the required tourist services and facilities. The Karon Temple Market operates several evenings a week at the beach’s southern end, offering local food, souvenirs, and crafts, in a more authentic atmosphere than the tourist markets. Karon to Kata walk is a 30 minute scenic coastal road connecting Karon’s southern end with Kata Beach, through Karon Panoramic Viewpoint.
Karon Beach is a preferred location for those seeking a quality, less crowded, and quitter beach with all the required facilities.
