• Chao Sam Phraya National Museum

The Chao Sam Phraya National Museum in Ayutthaya is home to an important collection of Ayutthaya period art and historical artifacts. Part of the museum collection is the remarkable treasury discovered in the underground crypt of Wat Ratchaburana including golden votive objects, royal jewelry, miniature Buddha images, and decorative items of extraordinary craftsmanship. The museum also presents a comprehensive overview of Ayutthaya’s history, art styles, and architectural gems of the 400 year period of the kingdom.
The museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
