• Caerphilly Castle

A 13th century impressive fortification, the largest in Wales, in Caerphilly, 12 km north of Cardiff. The castle is surrounded by artificial lakes and is famous for its large gatehouses, towers, and concentric rings of walls.

Explore the two huge drawbridges and the deep moat they cross, the huge gatehouses and towers, the grand hall and the various displays of the castle’s history, old arms and armor, as well as displays of day to day life over the years.
